Flash Fiction Friday ~ Humming Quietly

She could feel it. The rumble of the classic car's expertly tuned engine filtered up through the leather seat, the vibration enough to set her skin on fire. She was deliciously wet already.

She could hear the motor humming quietly, just audible under the song playing on the radio. It was an old classic - he always kept the radio tuned to a station that specialized in Oldies, as befitting the car's vintage.

She found herself humming quietly along with the familiar song as she fastened her silk stockings to the black lace garters he had couriered to her that afternoon along with the car keys; her heel gingerly braced against the dash. She could feel the slightly rough texture of the lace against her skin; and coupled with the warm weight of her pearls trailing over her nipples and the constant vibration from below, she felt thoroughly decadent. She could hardly wait to feel his hands on her skin.

He would be here soon, she could almost feel him rushing toward her. Soon it would just be them, this beautiful old car, and the passion and lust that was always humming quietly between them, tangible as a touch.

She saw his headlights approach the darkened corner of the parking lot, and leaned her head back, leaving her leg propped up tantalizingly; waiting for the door to open and admit a rush of cool night air, and her lover.
