So Much to Say...

...and so far behind!

My Dear Readers, my fabulous internet friends, I must first apologize for my recent absence. My time lately has not been my own. Compound that with a short out-of-town trip and some family obligations, and I just haven't been here - other than a scheduled HNT post because I just can't miss that! I need about 3 days just to read and comment and get caught up with my blogroll. I promise I will get there, and by the end of the weekend I should be back up to speed.

In my last HNT I promised some interesting news. It's what I have been hoping to be able to tell you for the past month and a half - Patrick and I are very nearly back on track! We have done a lot of talking in the past week, sent a lot of emails, spoken on the phone once, managed a quick (and I mean QUICK!) visit before I went out of town; and things are looking much better. The separation was tough, for both of us; and, obviously, some adjustments are going to need to be made on both sides - to tighten up security, as it were - but I think we're going to be okay.

I won't go into all the things that brought him back to me, most of them are the same things that brought him to me in the first place. I will just say this: I am intensely grateful to have him back in my life, and for the stalwart support I found here. I feel very, very lucky.
