TMI Tuesday #201 ~ Sleepy-Time Edition

1. Do you have "your" side of the bed? Which side?
As you stand at the foot, looking at the headboard, I sleep on the left. It's not quite written in stone, but it's close.
2. How old is your pillow and what condition is it in?
Not sure how old, maybe a year? It's in very good condition - I have a spray that sanitizes and freshens pillows and mattresses.
3. What is your favorite position to sleep in?
On my stomach, though my lower back issues make that pretty painful if I sleep that way all night. I tend to start out on my back or my left side, but still end up on my stomach. Old habits die hard...
4. How often do you change your sheets?
At least once, but usually twice a week. Seriously, is there anything better than a bed with completely fresh bedding (and a hot man warming it up??)??
5. What helps you fall asleep when insomnia strikes?
If it's dark enough, I lie very still and try to keep my eyes open as long as possible - a sort of reverse psychology. If that doesn't work, I use the resting pose from every yoga class I've ever taken - clear my head and focus on that third eye.
6. Does sex make you sleepy or energized?
Usually I'm sleepy right away, but if I don't actually go to sleep right away, then I'm generally pretty 'bouncy' after.
7. What is the minimum amount of sleep you need to be functional the next day?
I generally need about 5 hours to be minimally functional. If you want productive and charming too, better let me get 7 or more.
Bonus (as in optional): Describe your most vivid dream.
I had a dream once that I was standing on the edge of a field and saw a plane overhead that crashing. I watched it all the way in before realizing that I was too close to what was about to be the scene of the crash. I turned and ran, but not fast enough, and when the plane hit the ground and exploded the shockwave picked me up and threw me into the trees. I could hear the engines sputtering, I could feel the shock of the explosion, I could feel the intense heat of the explosion, I could see the trees I was about be slammed into - and that's when I woke up. I've never forgotten that dream - it freaked me out completely. Just writing about it gives me goosebumps.

Go see who else is playing!
