HNT ~ Don't Know Why

I'm feeling very mellow these days. Comfortable.

Content, even.

Clearly it's time to shake things up...

Don't get me wrong - I love me a good routine - but comfortable and content are always precursors to boredom for me.

And boredom means trouble. I do dumb things when I'm bored.

I'm certainly busy enough, that's not the issue. I have plenty to DO. This is boredom of the mind, of the spirit.

I haven't had much to write about here, about adventures with men other than my husband. As many of you have guessed, that's because there haven't been any.

Damn it.

Patrick and I still talk - almost every day - but that relationship is in a holding pattern. I'd like to let him back in, but I have to know that I can trust him. The prospect of finding someone else local has just been daunting. To be honest, I'm pretty sure I already hit the jackpot twice - I don't really believe I'll find anyone to fit the bill again. But who knows, right?

Aiden is still in the picture, but lives far enough away that chances to see each other are rare. Our next chance is still 2 months away.... sigh. He sends me the most wonderful, sensual, provocative emails. That man definitely knows how to keep thoughts of him and his amazing voice and body front and center in my head, and I can't wait to get my hands on him again!

Anyways... I need to get out and DO something. Something to occupy my head more, so I don't do anything thoughtlessly stupid just because my brain is bored.

Suggestions? Anyone?
