(are you ready?)
Get over it.
Yep, that's it.
Get over all of it.... all this 'feeling sorry for myself' nonsense. It's not who I am, and I'm heartily sick of feeling this way. I'm trying my own patience, damn it.
I'm going back to who I really am. Back to regular runs and workouts and eating properly and laughing at stupid stuff and posting here and even the odd HNT.
So tell me, gentle readers, what are your resolutions? Do you believe in them? Do you stick to them? What's the best (or worst) New Year's Resolution you've ever heard of?

I RESOLVE TO BE BETTER TO MYSELF!
I am glad to see your New Years' resolution is to be better to YOURSELF too! I truly think you deserve it!
P.s. Your HNT's really do make me happy too.
I'm usually not the resolution type. I think resolutions made because of a specific day tend not to last. If you don't like something, just change it - don't wait for a day.
That being said...I've gone entirely the other way this year (perhaps getting older is getting to me, lol). I have a whole bunch of goals, some I've shared with my wife, with those in my family...some of them I'm keeping private and trying to do them quietly. Actions always speak louder than words, and I'd rather deliver on something unsaid than speak up and fall short.
Happy New Years to you Ms Scarlett!
I'll drink to that! I made one resolution this year and it is to work on me and think of me first. The rest should follow.
Have a fabulous 2011! :)
I don't do resolutions anymore, but I do have a new year's day tradition.
On the first day of every year I swear a lot, eat too much, masturbate, refuse all forms of exercise, and look at porn.
That way, I have no pressure of having "a perfect" year. Really takes the stress out of it all.
I tend not to do resolutions. I'm a Jedi, Do or Do Not (frankly more often the latter ;-p) there is no try. But I don't begrudge anyone the opportunity to make a change for the better.
I like Advizor's plan. I do try to get some semi-annual phone sex in around New Year's every year. That's always fun!
And I also dig your HNT so premature ejaculations for their return!
I love it. Short, sweet, simple. And what it will lead to is staying in the present moment...not clinging to the past.
I'm not one for New Years resolutions. I'm a big believer in the power of intentions, so I review my intentions periodically. Not necessarily at New Years.
The worst resolutions seem to be the diet/exercise/get in shape resolutions. They seem to be always abandoned by Valentine's Day....
Best wishes for a Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Max
Can I start handing this one out to others I know? This is perfect for so many.
May you reach your goals because I now I've missed seeing you around. :)

I think that's a wonderful goal! And far better than most of the other ones out there!
And for the record...none of your HNTs has ever been "odd". ;-)
I don't do New Year's resolutions because if I have to wait until the new year to begin, I must not care that much about it. I "do" resolutions though, all year long. Some I keep, some I don't. Right now I've got a series of physical ones going. Point is, the New Year is a convenient time to take stock of where we are, but I believe just as much in February 22nd resolutions, and July 19th resolutions.
I don't make resolutions.... But I really love yours. And that sign is awesome :)
xo
I don't make resolutions but there are things, I am looking to change this year because I want to be better and feel better.
